Rugged tablet with built-in projector

The Unihertz 8849 Tank Pad 5G is a 10.95-inch rugged tablet that integrates a DLP projector for presentations or media on any surface. It ships with Android 14 and a factory-unlocked 5G modem, so it works on compatible networks worldwide. The Dimensity 8200 octa-core processor drives a 120 Hz FHD display, while 32 GB of RAM (16 GB physical plus 16 GB extended) and 512 GB of internal storage handle multitasking and large files. A microSDXC slot adds further expansion.

Sustained performance with 21000 mAh battery

The 21000 mAh battery is sized to support long projection sessions, continuous 5G connectivity and the 120 Hz panel without frequent recharging. Under heavy load the Dimensity 8200 maintains clock speeds thanks to the tablet’s rugged thermal design, preventing the throttling that smaller slates exhibit during extended video playback or gaming. Stereo speakers deliver clear audio for projected content, and the large cell also allows reverse charging of other devices when outlets are unavailable.

Projection and connectivity limits

The built-in DLP projector is suited to dim or indoor environments; bright daylight reduces visible image quality. 5G speeds depend entirely on carrier coverage and spectrum in the user’s location, and the dual-SIM tray accepts two nano SIMs but does not support an SD card simultaneously in the second slot. The 50 MP rear camera captures detailed photos, yet low-light video remains constrained by the sensor size. Buyers needing higher ANSI-lumen projection or dedicated HDMI input should consider a separate projector.

Questions about this item

Does the 21000mAh battery run hot or noisy during all-day use with the projector?

The 21000mAh battery powers the 10.95" 120Hz screen and DLP projector without active cooling, so the tablet stays silent and only warm under heavy load.

What SIM cards do I need ready for the dual-SIM 5G slots?

Two nano-SIMs are required; the device is factory unlocked and supports 5G on both slots simultaneously.

Will my older microSD cards work in the expansion slot?

The microSDXC slot accepts cards up to 2TB, so legacy microSD and microSDHC cards function normally at their rated speeds.
