Brass V6 Nozzle 0.4mm for 1.75mm Filament
These two brass nozzles fit V6 extruder heads with an M6 thread and accept 1.75mm filament. They are intended for makers printing non-abrasive materials such as PLA, ABS or PCL on compatible 3D printers. The stamped size marking on each nozzle helps identify the 0.4mm bore quickly.
Pack of Two Identical Nozzles
The bundle supplies a spare nozzle so a worn or clogged tip can be swapped without waiting for a separate order. Having a matched pair also simplifies testing different temperature settings because both nozzles share the same 0.4mm diameter and 2mm input bore.
M6 Thread Limits and Temperature Range
The M6 thread with 7mm length only fits hot-ends designed for the V6 pattern; other thread standards will not engage. Printing temperatures must stay within the material windows — roughly 180 to 220 for PLA and 240 to 280 for ABS — because brass softens above those levels.

Questions about this item
How often will the 0.4mm brass nozzle need replacing when printing PLA?
Brass nozzles wear faster with abrasive filaments; for non-abrasive PLA the 0.4mm tip lasts many spools, but inspect the orifice periodically and swap once the hole visibly widens.
What temperature ceiling limits extended prints with this nozzle?
The brass construction handles standard PLA ranges of 180-220 and ABS ranges of 240-280; sustained temperatures above the filament's upper limit can soften the brass and degrade extrusion consistency.
How hot does the 12 x 7 mm brass nozzle get during all-day printing?
At PLA temperatures of 180-220 or ABS temperatures of 240-280 the nozzle reaches those target heats; the small 12 x 7 mm brass body conducts heat quickly, so the heater block and surrounding parts become very hot during continuous operation.
