Compact 2 W solar module

This 9 V polysilicon panel delivers 2 W in a 115 mm square frame weighing 56 g. It suits hobbyists building solar toys, small chargers or low-power sensor nodes. The black-green finish and 3 mm thickness keep the profile thin for tight enclosures. Buyers who need higher wattage or grid-tie capability should look elsewhere.

Simple two-wire installation

Solder or crimp directly to the exposed contacts; no controller is included so reverse-polarity protection must be added by the builder. The thin glass surface can crack if flexed during mounting, and open-circuit voltage rises in cold sun, so verify downstream electronics tolerate the peak._OUTPUT_

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 9 V output is working after wiring the panel?

Connect a multimeter set to DC volts across the terminals in direct sunlight; a reading near 9 V confirms the panel is producing its rated voltage.

What does the package include and is any mounting hardware supplied?

The box contains one 115 mm polysilicon panel only; brackets, cables or a charge controller are not included and must be sourced separately.
