50-Piece Mid-Clamp Kit

This kit supplies fifty silver-coloured aluminium mid clamps designed to secure framed solar panels to mounting rails. Each clamp measures 20 by 23 by 9 millimetres and weighs approximately eight grams. The hardware is intended for installers assembling ground-mount or roof-mount arrays using standard framed modules.

Installation Notes

The clamps slide onto the panel frame and rail channel, then tighten with a socket-cap bolt and rail nut that are not included in the package. A common issue is discovering the missing fasteners only after the rails are positioned, so verify bolt length and nut compatibility before starting the job.

Capacity and Limits

Fifty pieces typically cover the mid-span connections for a small residential array of roughly twelve to sixteen panels depending on row layout. The clamps suit standard frame thicknesses but will not grip frameless or ultra-thin modules, and they provide no grounding path unless paired with dedicated grounding hardware.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 50 mid clamps are correctly securing my framed panels after installation?

Check that each silver clamp sits flush against the 20x23x9mm frame profile and that the array feels rigid when you press the panel edges.

What comes in the box and which fasteners must I source separately?

The pack contains 50 aluminum mid clamps weighing 402g total; stainless socket cap bolts and rail nuts are not included and must be purchased separately.

With only one silver 20x23x9mm mid clamp version listed, how do I choose the right one?

This single size is a universal mid clamp designed to fit all standard framed panel profiles, so no further selection is needed.
