Unique-Bargains BNC Male to Male Coaxial Cable 50 ohm 4 ft RG174

SKU CH-GRHD-T4YCH

A 4-foot 50-ohm coaxial cable with BNC male connectors for video and audio signal transmission

  • Product typeHI - Antennas, Wires & Fittings
  • 50 ohm impedance matches RF and video systems
  • 4 foot length suits bench and rack layouts
  • RG174 construction keeps the cable thin and flexible
  • Gold plated brass contacts resist corrosion for clean signals
  • Nickel plated connector bodies add mechanical durability

Purpose-built connection

This 50 ohm coaxial jumper carries video and audio signals between BNC-equipped devices such as broadcast gear, surveillance cameras or test instruments. The matched male-to-male ends suit installers who need a ready-made link without soldering or crimping.

Impedance match

The cable presents a 50 ohm characteristic impedance and uses RG174 construction with a solid centre conductor, dielectric insulation and tinned copper braid beneath a flexible PVC jacket. Nickel-plated bodies and gold-plated brass contacts preserve signal integrity across the run.

Quick fit

Push-on BNC connectors seat with a quarter turn so the link is made in seconds, yet the bayonet lock resists vibration in mobile or rack environments. The 0.11 inch diameter allows routing through tight panels, though the fixed 4 foot length cannot be shortened without re-termination.

Questions about this item

How does the 50 ohm impedance affect signal quality in a real installation?

The 50 ohm rating matches standard RF and video equipment, minimising reflections so the signal stays clean across the 4 foot run.

What does the RG174 construction limit in practical use?

RG174 is a thin .11 inch cable suited to short, flexible connections; longer runs would lose more signal than thicker coax types.

What clearance is needed behind the panel for the BNC connectors to seat properly?

Each nickel plated BNC male plug needs roughly one inch of depth behind the panel for the bayonet lock to engage fully.
