SKU CH-D5DS-RTCKX

50 ohm BNC male-to-male jumper with RG174 coaxial cable, nickel-plated bodies and gold-plated contacts for video and surveillance links

  • Product typeHI - Antennas, Wires & Fittings
  • 50 ohm impedance matches test equipment and RF gear
  • 6 inch RG174 keeps bench connections short and tidy
  • Gold-plated brass contacts resist corrosion for reliable signal transfer
  • Nickel-plated connector bodies withstand repeated mating cycles
  • Flexible PVC jacket with tinned copper braid shields against interference

6-Inch 50-Ohm BNC Jumper Cable

This 6-inch coaxial jumper uses RG174 cable with BNC male connectors on both ends. It is built for 50-ohm impedance paths in video, broadcast and surveillance installations. The short length suits tight chassis runs or test-bench patches where excess cable would be a nuisance.

Installers needing a short 50-ohm patch

Technicians who require a longer reach, a different impedance value, or angled connectors will not be served by this fixed 6-inch straight cable. Buyers needing double-shielded construction or a specific temperature rating not listed here should also seek alternatives.

50-ohm impedance matched to RG174

The cable presents a 50-ohm characteristic impedance using RG174 construction with a solid centre conductor, dielectric insulation and tinned copper braid. Nickel-plated bodies and gold-plated brass contacts complete the electrical path.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 6 inch length or a longer version for my setup?

The cable is supplied at 6 inch; choose this length when the devices are close together, or select a longer jumper if more reach is needed.

What does the 50 ohm impedance mean when the cable is connected?

It matches 50 ohm systems so signals pass with minimal reflection, which is standard for RF, video and test equipment.

The cable uses RG174 — what does that cap in practice?

RG174 has a .11 inch diameter and solid centre conductor, so it handles the 50 ohm signal but is best kept to short runs like this 6 inch jumper.
