Ten-piece DC power pigtail kit

This pack contains ten female plug pigtails with a 4.0 mm by 1.7 mm barrel connector. Each lead is 30 cm long and uses 22 AWG pure copper wire rated for 3 A. The cords suit builders wiring LED strips, CCTV cameras or other low-voltage DC devices that accept this barrel size.

Simple solder or crimp installation

Strip the 22 AWG conductors and solder or crimp them to your project wiring; the 3.5 mm outer jacket strips cleanly with standard tools. The only common issue is accidentally reversing polarity, so verify positive and negative markings on your device before connecting.

4.0 mm by 1.7 mm barrel interface

The connector inner diameter is 1.7 mm and outer diameter is 4.0 mm, which is not the more common 5.5 mm by 2.5 mm size. Buyers whose equipment uses a different barrel diameter or a locking connector cannot use these pigtails.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the pigtail is delivering the rated 3 A after connecting it?

Measure the voltage drop across the 30 cm 22 AWG pure-copper leads while the load is drawing current; a minimal drop confirms the 3 A rating is being met.

What comes in the package and what must I supply separately?

The box contains ten 30 cm female plug pigtails with 4.0 mm × 1.7 mm connectors and 3.5 mm outer-diameter cable; you must provide the matching male DC jack and the power source.

Which connector size should I select for a 4.0 mm × 1.7 mm device port?

Choose the version listed as 4.0 mm × 1.7 mm interface size — it matches that port exactly.
