Adjustable Zinc Alloy Brackets

Unique-Bargains Type-04 brackets secure glass, acrylic or wood shelves between 5 mm and 8 mm thick. The zinc alloy construction resists corrosion and the silver-tone finish adds a clean look. Two brackets come in the pack for a simple mounting job.

For shelf displays and light organisation

These brackets suit anyone fitting a small display shelf in a living room or cabinet. They are not designed for heavy structural loads, for shelves thicker than 8 mm, or for outdoor use where constant moisture could exceed the corrosion resistance.

Fits 5 mm to 8 mm shelf thickness

The adjustable clamp accepts material from 5 mm up to 8 mm, so the shelf thickness is the single specification that decides compatibility. The shaft measures 5 mm by 7 mm and each bracket body is 20 mm long, 14 mm wide and 14 mm high.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise do these brackets generate when holding a shelf all day?

They are passive metal brackets with no moving parts or electronics, so they produce no heat and make no noise.

What fixings must I already have to mount the 5 mm shaft on the wall?

You need wall anchors or screws suited to your wall material that accept a 5 mm diameter shaft.

Will the 20 mm by 14 mm footprint cover the holes left by my old brackets?

Each bracket measures 20 mm long, 14 mm wide and 14 mm high, so it will cover holes within that rectangle.
