Rubber-foam insulation sheet with embossed aluminium foil, 3.0 m by 0.5 m by 5 mm, resists heat, moisture and temperatures from -30 to +100 °C
This insulation sheet combines rubber foam with an embossed aluminum foil facing to create a thermal barrier for roofs, walls, HVAC ducts and pipes. The construction resists heat, freezing, rust and flame across a wide operating range. It is supplied as a single 3.0 metre by 0.5 metre piece with a 5 millimetre thickness.
The material remains stable from -30 °C to +100 °C (-22 °F to +212 °F), so it handles both sub-zero conditions and hot ductwork without degrading. The embossed foil surface repels water and is unaffected by humidity or moisture. No active cooling or power is involved, so the sheet adds no noise or electrical draw to the installation.
The rubber foam core provides the insulating bulk while the aluminum foil adds a waterproof, reflective skin. Seams are sealed with aluminum foil tape, which is not included in the package. The 1.64 ft width suits standard joist and stud bays, and the 0.2 in thickness keeps the profile slim for tight cavities. Buyers needing wider rolls or self-adhesive backing will need a different product.

Cut the sheet to length, press the foil side against the duct or roof, then seal every joint with aluminum foil tape; skipping the tape leaves gaps that let heat and moisture through.
Inspect the foil surface yearly for tears or corrosion; if the embossing flattens or the foil punctures, replace the affected section to keep the -30 to +100°C rating intact.
The rubber foam core begins to degrade once the +100°C (212°F) ceiling is reached, so sustained exposure above that point is the first failure mode.
