Unique-Bargains Polyimide Tape 1/8 Inch 98ft 250C-300C Brown

SKU CH-WCH2-GPHF2

Single-sided polyimide tape with silicone adhesive, 98 feet long by 1/8 inch wide, withstands 250 °C long-term and 300 °C short-term for PCB shielding and high-heat masking

  • Withstands long-term 250 °C and short-term 300 °C heat
  • Leaves no residue after removal across the full temperature range
  • Enhanced silicone adhesive gives stronger hold than standard tapes
  • 98 ft roll length covers many shielding or masking jobs
  • 055 mm thickness conforms tightly to irregular surfaces

Polyimide Tape for High-Temperature Shielding

This single-sided polyimide tape uses a silicone adhesive to withstand long-term exposure at 250 and short-term peaks at 300. It suits electronics assembly, PCB plating, powder coating and soldering tasks where components must be protected from excessive heat. The 3 mm wide roll provides 30 meter of continuous length for repeated use across multiple projects.

Temperature Rating Defines Suitability

The tape maintains adhesion and insulation across its rated range of 250 long-term and 300 short-term without leaving residue on removal. If your process exceeds these temperatures or requires a different adhesive chemistry, this roll will not meet the requirement.

Sustained Heat Performance

Tensile strength exceeds 42 N per 25 mm and peel strength exceeds 26 N per 25 mm, with 50 elongation at break. The 0.055 mm thick film holds tight during prolonged rework cycles, resisting adhesive creep and maintaining dielectric protection throughout the job.

Questions about this item

What does the 250 °C long-term rating mean when the tape is used on a circuit board?

The tape maintains adhesion and insulation during prolonged exposure up to 250 °C, protecting nearby components during soldering or rework cycles.

How does the silicone adhesive perform at the 300 °C short-term limit?

The enhanced silicone adhesive holds tight and leaves no residue even at brief 300 °C peaks, then releases cleanly when the job is done.

Will the 3 mm wide roll fit a standard handheld dispenser?

The 1/8-inch (3 mm) width matches common narrow-tape dispensers, and the 30 m length loads without modification.
