Black Waterproof Foam Tape

This black double-sided foam tape measures four millimetres wide and twenty metres long. It uses acrylic adhesive on a polyethylene foam carrier that is three-tenths of a millimetre thick. The roll weighs forty-five grams and is designed for indoor and outdoor bonding tasks.

Indoor And Outdoor Repair Jobs

It suits phone and LCD screen repairs, furniture trim attachment, signage mounting and general workshop fixing. Buyers who need a wider tape, a different adhesive chemistry or a heat-resistant specification should look at other products.

Four Millimetre Width And Twenty Metre Length

The critical specification is the four-millimetre width combined with a twenty-metre roll length. This determines whether the tape fits the gap or surface you are bonding and whether the quantity covers the project.

Questions about this item

How wide is the 4 mm tape and what gap can the 0.3 mm foam actually fill?

The roll is 4 mm wide and the foam layer is 0.3 mm thick, so it bridges gaps up to that thickness when compressed.

What surface preparation and mounting method does the 4 mm sponge tape need?

Clean both surfaces dry, cut the required length, peel the first liner, press firmly, then remove the second liner and join the parts.

Which step do installers most often skip when applying the double-sided foam tape?

Many forget to remove the second protective liner after positioning the first side, leaving the bond incomplete.
