Door and surface sealing tape

This black and yellow sponge foam tape comes in two rolls each four meters long. It is designed for indoor or outdoor use on doors, trunk lids, roof rails, sunroofs and camper tops. The closed cell neoprene material blocks air, dust and moisture without absorbing water or oil.

Single sided adhesive mounting

Each roll is fifteen millimeters wide and three millimeters thick with adhesive on one side only. The peel and stick backing removes the need for separate glue and bonds to metal, plastic, wood and other smooth surfaces. A tolerance of up to three eighths of an inch may apply to the stated dimensions.

Two roll pack for extended runs

The package contains two pieces totalling eight meters of tape weighing fifty four grams. This quantity suits longer sealing jobs such as HVAC ducts, refrigeration lines, expansion joints or vehicle body seams. No additional tools or fasteners are required for installation.

Questions about this item

What width does the 15mm foam tape reach when sealing a gap?

The tape measures 15mm wide and 3mm thick, so it fills a 15mm gap while compressing to seal uneven surfaces.

What surface preparation and mounting hardware does the self-adhesive sponge tape require?

Clean the metal, plastic or wood surface, peel the liner and press the adhesive side down; no screws, clips or extra glue are needed.

How do you install the 4-metre roll without stretching it and losing thickness?

Unroll the tape, cut the length you need, peel the backing gradually while laying it flat, and press firmly without pulling so the 3mm thickness stays intact.
