Triple-track magnetic stripe reader

The UNITECH MSR120B-33UE reads all three tracks on a credit card and connects through a USB port that also provides RS232 emulation. It is intended for point-of-sale systems that need a simple, direct swipe device without additional drivers for the emulated serial link. The dark-grey housing suits counter-top or mobile cart deployments.

Low-power USB operation

The unit draws its power from the USB bus, so no external supply is required and heat output remains negligible during normal use. With no moving parts beyond the read head, acoustic noise is effectively absent in a retail environment. The RS232 emulation layer adds no measurable overhead to the host system.
