Grocery Bag 12 x 7 x 17
These kraft paper bags measure 12 by 7 by 17 inches and carry a 52 lb basis weight. They arrive in a 500 count carton and feature self-opening thumb notches for quick filling. The gusseted sides expand to hold bulky items securely.
High Volume Checkout Lines
Busy grocery stores and other high-traffic environments benefit from the economical price and fast opening action. Shoppers needing moisture resistance, reusable handles or custom printed branding should look at alternative bag types.
Immediate Shelf Ready Use
The carton opens directly onto a bag stand without assembly or tools required. Common issues include tearing if overloaded past the 52 lb rating and difficulty separating individual sheets in humid conditions.

Questions about this item
Do these 12 x 7 x 17 bags need a specific dispenser to sit on a checkout counter?
The bags are self‑opening with thumb notches, so they stand upright on any flat counter or standard bag rack without a dedicated dispenser.
Can the 52 lb kraft bags share the same storage shelf as the lighter paper bags we already use?
Yes — they are the same 12 x 7 x 17 size, so they stack neatly alongside lighter‑weight bags on existing shelving.
How do I know the 500‑bag bale is packed correctly when it arrives?
Count the bundles; each should contain the standard quantity that totals 500 bags, and the 52 lb basis weight printed on the label confirms the grade.
