Direct replacement remote

This infrared universal remote is a direct replacement for the original Yamaha RAV227, RXV2300 and V9408100 models. It arrives with every button function pre-installed so it works immediately after inserting two AAA batteries. The unit controls a single device and is intended for owners who have lost or damaged their original handset.

Single-device infrared control

The remote supports exactly one component via infrared, matching the scope of the original controller. It handles every command the factory remote issued, but it cannot operate a second piece of equipment or learn new codes. Buyers who need multi-device macros or RF capability will find this unit does not meet those requirements.

Ready-to-use with batteries

Two AAA cells are the only addition required; the remote ships with the complete button map already programmed. There is no PC software, no learning routine and no firmware update to run. The 12-month guarantee covers defects in materials or workmanship.
