Ideal for Single-Device Owners

This remote suits owners who need a like-for-like spare for one Denon player. It controls only one device via infrared and offers no multi-device macros. Buyers wanting a single handset for a whole AV stack should look elsewhere.

12-Month Coverage Included

The handset runs on standard AAA cells and carries a 12-month guarantee. It handles every playback and menu function the original remote provided. There is no provision for firmware updates or expanded device libraries.

Questions about this item

Does the RC-222 need a Denon DCD-3560 or DCD-3500RG player to operate?

Yes, this infrared remote is a direct replacement for the original Denon 4990151007 handset and controls only that single supported device.

Will the RC-222 interfere with other Denon components I already own?

It uses standard infrared codes for the DCD-3560 and DCD-3500RG models, so nearby Denon gear may respond if it shares the same command set.

How do I confirm the RC-222 is working after inserting the AAA batteries?

Point it at the player and press any transport key — play, stop or skip — and the deck should respond immediately.
