Direct replacement for Audiovox headrest remotes

This universal remote replaces the original Audiovox FPE3206, FPE3707HR, FPE2706 and FPE3706 handsets. It arrives pre-programmed with every button function of the factory remote. Simply insert two AAA batteries and the unit is ready to operate the overhead or headrest DVD system. No additional setup or code entry is required.

Single-device infrared control

The remote controls one Audiovox player using infrared line-of-sight transmission. It duplicates every original button so menus, playback and volume work exactly as before. The supplier provides a 12-month guarantee against defects. Buyers who need to operate multiple brands or devices from one handset will need a different solution.

Battery-powered drop-in for rear-seat entertainment

Two AAA cells power the unit; no wiring, pairing or external receiver is involved. The form factor matches the original so it fits existing storage clips or seat-back pockets. Households that have lost or damaged the factory remote regain full control without professional installation. Users wanting RF or Bluetooth operation should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will this remote control my Audiovox FPE3206 alongside my older DVD player?

This remote is a direct replacement for the original Audiovox FPE3206, FPE3707HR, FPE2706, and FPE3706 models. It supports one device via infrared, so it controls the matching Audiovox display but not additional components.

How do I confirm the remote is working after inserting the batteries?

Insert two AAA batteries and point the remote at the Audiovox display. Press the power button; the screen should respond immediately because the unit arrives with all original functions pre-installed.

Does the package include the AAA batteries required for operation?

The remote arrives ready-to-use with functions installed, but AAA batteries are not included. You will need to supply two AAA batteries separately before the unit will operate.
