Compatible Models and Device Limit

This universal remote replaces the original Yamaha WB722000, RTWB722000 and RAX14 handsets. It controls exactly one device and ships with every button function pre-programmed to match the factory layout.

Infrared Signal and Battery Requirement

The unit communicates solely through infrared, so an unobstructed line of sight to the Yamaha component is required. Two AAA batteries must be inserted before the remote becomes operational.

Passive Operation and Low Power Draw

With no active radios or backlighting, the remote generates no audible noise and produces no perceptible heat during normal use. Power consumption is limited to the infrared LED pulses driven by the AAA cells.
