Questions about this item

How do I install the SMART U100W remote, and what step do people often miss?

Insert two AAA batteries, then point the infrared emitter at the device. The step people miss is confirming the batteries are oriented correctly before testing.

What maintenance will the SMART U100W remote need later?

Replace the AAA batteries when the infrared range shortens or buttons stop responding. No other user-serviceable parts are inside.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the SMART U100W remote?

Battery depletion is the first limit; the infrared emitter draws power with every press, so heavy use drains the AAA cells faster.
