4K HDBaseT Extender with IR and RS232

This HDMI extender uses HDBaseT technology to send 4K 60 Hz signals up to 130 feet and 1080p signals up to 230 feet over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. It supports HDCP 2.2 and 1.4, 3D video, and audio formats including LPCM, DTS-HD, and Dolby TrueHD. The kit includes transmitter and receiver units, a power adapter, and wideband IR emitters and receivers for remote control passthrough.

Simple Cat5e/6 installation with PoC convenience

Connect the transmitter to the source and the receiver to the display using a standard Ethernet cable; only one power adapter is required thanks to Power over Cable functionality. Mounting brackets are supplied for a tidy fixed install. The RS232 port allows firmware updates or control-system integration. Ensure the cable run does not exceed the rated distances, as signal loss will occur beyond those limits.

The extender comfortably handles Ultra HD 60 Hz 4:4:4 content up to 130 feet and Full HD 1080p 3D up to 230 feet. Beyond these ranges the link becomes unstable or drops out entirely. It does not support resolutions higher than 4K or transmission distances longer than those specified, so runs exceeding 230 feet at 1080p or 130 feet at 4K will require a different solution.
