Direct Replacement Remote

This universal remote directly replaces the original Yamaha YHT497, RXV373, RAV463, and ZA113500 remote controls. It replicates every button function of the original unit for compatible Yamaha home theatre receivers. The device arrives with all functions pre-installed and ready for immediate use after inserting batteries. It supports control of a single device via infrared.

Infrared Single-Device Control

The remote operates using infrared wireless technology and requires AAA batteries to function. It is designed to control one Yamaha receiver, eliminating the need for the original handset. No programming or setup is required beyond inserting the batteries. The unit frees the user from searching for a discontinued or lost manufacturer remote.

Upgrade From Lost Or Damaged Originals

This remote serves as a direct substitute when the original Yamaha remote is lost, damaged, or no longer responsive. The jump is worthwhile whenever the original handset is unavailable and full button-for-button functionality is required. It is not suitable for users needing control over multiple separate devices or those seeking programmable macro functions.
