Reclosable bags for small-part storage

These clear LDPE bags measure eight inches by eight inches and seal with a zip closure. A white write-on block lets you label contents quickly. The flat pack contains one thousand bags ready for workshop, garage or garden use.

Practical limits of the zip seal

The two-mil polyethylene resists moisture and dust but is not rated for heavy or sharp objects that could puncture the film. Repeated opening and closing will eventually fatigue the interlocking tracks, so the seal is best suited to lightweight items that are accessed occasionally rather than daily.

Capacity and headroom

Each bag holds eight-by-eight inches of usable space, enough for screws, seed packets, small tools or craft supplies. The folded bottom adds a little volume but offers no structural reinforcement, so overfilling risks splitting the side seams. One thousand bags provide long-term supply for high-volume sorting tasks.
