Buyers needing a wired-only or fibre-ready gateway

Questions about this item

What cellular plan or SIM card is required for the USR3510 to provide internet access?

The USR3510 functions as a cellular modem and wireless router, so it requires an active cellular data plan and a compatible SIM card from a mobile carrier to establish the WAN connection that it then shares over Wi-Fi.

Can the USR3510 connect to an existing wired router or switch via Ethernet for expanded ports?

Yes, the USR3510 includes Ethernet LAN ports that allow it to connect to an existing wired router or network switch, letting you add wireless capability or use the cellular link as a primary or backup WAN source for the wider network.
