Replacement for Yaesu FNB-72 and FNB-85

This 9.6V 1500mAh Ni-MH battery replaces the original FNB-72 and FNB-85 packs used in Yaesu Vertex two-way radios. It fits the FT-817 and FT-817ND handheld transceivers as a direct substitute for the factory cells.

Steady voltage through long transmit cycles

Ni-MH chemistry holds a stable 9.6V output during extended push-to-talk sessions rather than sagging after a short burst. The 1500mAh capacity supports typical field-day or net-control duty cycles without needing a mid-day swap.

100% compatibility with listed part numbers

The cell matches the electrical profile and physical footprint of the OEM FNB-72, FNB-72x, FNB-72xe, FNB-72xh, FNB7-72xx and FNB-85 packs. Radios requiring a different voltage or connector will not work with this unit.
