Verify radio model and connector fit

Confirm that your radio is one of the listed Motorola models before ordering. The headset uses a single connector that plugs into the radio accessory port; no adapter is mentioned in the specifications. Cable runs measure 120 cm from connector to microphone and 150 cm from connector to earpiece, so check that these lengths suit your wearing preference.

Integrates with uniform or gear

The acoustic tube and mushroom eartips sit comfortably under helmets, hats or headbands, leaving both hands free for tasks. Strong PU cable material resists wear during extended shifts in noisy environments such as warehouses, paintball fields or nightclubs. The in-line push-to-talk microphone clips to a lapel or strap for quick access.

Questions about this item

Does the headset include both the acoustic tube and the microphone, or do I need to buy the PTT unit separately?

The package contains the acoustic tube earpiece and the in-line microphone with push-to-talk button already attached, so no extra PTT module is required.

Which Motorola radio models are confirmed compatible with this headset?

It is built for the SL300, SL7550, 7580, SL4000, SL3500e, SL1K and SL1M two-way radios.

How far can I sit from the radio with the 120 cm mic cable and 150 cm earphone cable?

The microphone lead reaches 120 cm (40 in) from the radio connector and the earphone lead extends 150 cm (60 in), giving plenty of slack for belt-worn or chest-mounted radios.
