Desktop charger for Vertex and Yaesu radios

This desktop charger powers compatible Vertex and Yaesu two-way radios or charges spare batteries directly. It supports a wide range of models including the FT-60R, VX-160, VX-180 and VXA-220. The unit suits operators who need a dedicated charging station for fleet or personal use.

Passive operation with no fan noise

The charger runs silently with no moving parts, drawing only the power required for the inserted battery or radio. Heat output stays low during normal charge cycles. It connects to a standard USB power source for convenient bench or vehicle use.

Replaces lost or damaged OEM docks

This unit replaces an original cradle that has been lost, broken or worn out. The jump is worth it when a radio user needs simultaneous charging for a spare FNB-V57, FNB-83 or FNB-V94 pack while the main radio stays in service. Buyers needing multi-bay gang charging for six or more units should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I place the radio or battery into the charger so the contacts line up?

Insert the radio with the battery attached or the spare battery alone until the charging indicator lights; the cradle accepts FNB-V57, FNB-V83, FNB-V94 and similar packs.

What part will wear out first and need replacing?

The battery packs such as FNB-83 or FNB-V94 lose capacity over repeated cycles; the desktop cradle itself has no moving parts.

How long can the charger stay plugged in before it overheats?

The unit is designed for continuous desktop use; no duty-cycle limit is specified for the charger itself.
