Helmet kit for two-way radio

This headset connects to compatible two-way radios using a two-pin Kenwood-style plug. It is built for motorcyclists and cyclists who need hands-free communication while riding. The kit includes dual earpieces and a boom microphone for stereo audio.

Cable length and fit

The cord measures 147 cm (57.87 inch), giving enough slack to route from a handlebar-mounted radio to a full-face helmet. The fixed length cannot be shortened or extended, so riders with very long or very short routing paths may find it awkward.

Two-pin connector compatibility

The plug follows the common Kenwood / Wouxun / Puxing / Linton two-pin pinout. It will not work with radios that use a single-pin, multi-pin, or proprietary connector without an adapter.

Questions about this item

Will the 147 cm cable reach from my handlebar-mounted radio to a full-face helmet without pulling?

The kit includes a 147 cm (57.87 in) cable, long enough to run from handlebar to helmet on most motorcycles with slack for head movement.

How do I confirm the dual-sided earpieces and noise-blocking microphone are functioning after installation?

Press the velcro-mounted PTT button, speak into the boom mic, and listen for clear audio in both earpieces while the engine runs — wind noise should be muted.

Does the package contain the two-way radio itself or only the helmet headset with 2-pin Kenwood-style connector?

Only the helmet headset, dual earpieces, boom microphone, velcro PTT button and 147 cm cable are included; the compatible two-way radio must be purchased separately.
