RJ45 8-Pin Programming Cable for Kenwood Radios

This USB programming cable connects compatible Kenwood two-way radios to a computer for configuration. It uses an RJ45 8-pin connector and includes a driver CD for installation. The cable supports both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows and Mac operating systems. It is designed for radio operators who need to program frequencies and settings on supported Kenwood models.

Suits operators with listed Kenwood models.

The cable works with a wide range of Kenwood mobile and base radios including the TK-760, TK-880, TK-7150, TK-7160, TK-7180 and NX series units. It also supports the TM-261A, TM-271A and TM-281A mobile transceivers. Buyers whose radios use a different programming interface or connector type cannot use this cable. The package does not contain programming software, so users must obtain compatible software separately.

RJ45 8-pin connector determines compatibility

The single specification that decides fit is the RJ45 8-pin connector on the radio side. Only Kenwood models equipped with this exact port can be programmed with this cable. The supplied driver CD enables communication between the USB port and the radio across supported operating systems. Verify that the target radio matches the listed model numbers before purchasing.
