Rapid Charger for Kenwood Ni-MH Batteries

The usbroway KSC-24 is a rapid charger designed for Ni-MH battery packs used in Kenwood two-way radios. It serves professional users, fleet operators and hobbyists who need a dependable way to replenish compatible packs quickly. The unit works with a wide range of KNB-series batteries and the radios that accept them.

Compatible Battery and Radio Range

Supported battery models include KNB-14, 14A, 15, 15A, 16, 16A, 17, 17B, 20N, 21, 21N, 22 and 22N. It also charges packs inside radios such as the TK-190, TK-260, TK-280, TK-360, TK-370, TK-372, TK-373, TK-378, TK-380, TK-388, TK-390, TK-480, TK-481, TK-2100, TK-2101, TK-2102, TK-2107, TK-3100, TK-3101, TK-3102, TK-3107 and TK-5400. It does not charge lithium-ion packs or batteries outside the listed KNB series.

Upgrade from Standard Slow Chargers

This rapid charger replaces slower desktop or trickle chargers supplied with older Kenwood kits, cutting charge time for Ni-MH packs. The jump is worth it for teams that rotate radios daily and need packs ready for the next shift. Buyers who require multi-bay gang charging, vehicle-mount adapters or support for newer lithium-ion chemistries should look elsewhere.
