Rapid Charger for CP-Series Radios

The USBroway rapid charger powers Motorola CP-series portable radios through the included base and adapter. It fits models including CP185, CP100D, EP350, CP140, CP145, CP160, CP476, CP477, CP1300, CP1600 and CP1660. Built-in safeguards monitor temperature, current, voltage, charge time and battery health during every cycle.

For Fleets Using Compatible Batteries

Teams that standardise on PMNN4476, PMNN4080, PMNN4081 or PMNN4082 packs can drop any of those batteries into the same dock. Organisations needing multi-bay gang chargers, vehicle-mounted docks or support for non-Motorola battery chemistries should evaluate other solutions.

Charges PMNN4476 and PMNN4080 Series Packs

The single deciding specification is battery compatibility: this unit charges PMNN4476, PMNN4476A, PMNN4080, PMNN4081, PMNN4081AR and PMNN4082 cells. If your radio uses a different battery code the charger will not make contact.

Questions about this item

Which radio models does this rapid charger support?

The charger works with CP185, CP100D, EP350, CP140, CP145, CP160, CP476, CP477, CP1300, CP1600 and CP1660 portable radios.

What does the rapid-charge label mean when the unit is on the bench?

It delivers a faster charge cycle than standard desktop chargers while monitoring temperature, current, voltage, time and battery health to stop charging if limits are exceeded.

What power connection does the charger use and what does that limit?

The included power adapter plugs into mains AC, so charge speed is capped by the adapter output and the battery’s own acceptance rate rather than a USB or vehicle supply.
