Two-Pack Surveillance Headset

This two-pack supplies listen-only earpieces for two-way radios and accessories that use a 3.5 mm earphone jack. Each unit uses a clear acoustic coil tube to route audio discreetly to the ear. The polyurethane-jacketed cable and reinforced clip reduce strain during extended wear. Rated output is 72 dB at 32 ohms impedance.

Security and Event Staff

The receive-only design suits personnel who need to monitor radio traffic without transmitting. Compatibility extends to speaker mics, remote mics and MP3 players with a 3.5 mm jack. Users who require a push-to-talk microphone or inline volume control should select a different headset style.

Coil Tube and Reinforced Clip

The clear acoustic coil tube keeps the earbud positioned while maintaining a low profile. A reinforced earphone clip secures the cable to clothing and eliminates pull on the connector. Rated input power is 0.1 W with a 0.2 W maximum, supporting typical portable audio sources.

Questions about this item

Which 3.5 mm audio source do I need to plug this headset into?

Any two-way radio, speaker mic, remote mic or MP3 player that has a 3.5 mm earphone jack will drive the earpiece.

Will the 32 ohm impedance cause volume problems with older radios?

The 32 ohm load is standard for portable audio gear, so legacy radios with a 3.5 mm jack should deliver normal listening levels.

How can I confirm the headset is receiving audio correctly after I connect it?

You should hear clear receive audio at about 72 dB output when the radio is transmitting; the reinforced clip keeps the cable secure so sound stays consistent.
