2-Pin Kenwood Speaker Microphone

This speaker microphone connects to Kenwood two-way radios using a 2-pin audio jack. It is built for professionals who need reliable push-to-talk communication in demanding environments. Compatible models include the NX-1200, NX-1300, TK-2170, TK-3170 and TH-D74A series among many others.

Check Your Radio Connector

Verify that your Kenwood radio has the correct 2-pin audio jack before ordering. The plug will not fit single-pin, multi-pin or proprietary connectors found on other brands or Kenwood series not listed. No adapter is included so the radio must match the specified pin layout exactly.

Rugged Housing With Rotating Clip

The microphone uses a high impact-resistant polycarbonate housing with an internal vibration absorption system and SMT electronic board. A stainless steel detachable clip rotates 360 degrees for flexible shoulder or belt mounting. The TPU cable is reinforced with high tensile and Kevlar fibres and includes a TPU strain relief for extended bending life.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the usbroway speaker mic and is a radio included?

The package contains the speaker microphone with its integrated TPU-reinforced cable, a stainless-steel detachable 360-degree rotatable clip, and an 18-month warranty card. A compatible Kenwood two-pin radio such as the TK-2170 or NX-1200 must be purchased separately.

How do I choose between the listed Kenwood models like the NX-1200 and TK-3170 for this mic?

All listed models share the same two-pin Kenwood audio jack, so the microphone works identically with any of them. Select the radio that matches your frequency band, power output, and feature set; the mic requires no model-specific adapter.

What does the 360-degree rotatable clip mean when the mic is clipped to a shoulder strap?

The stainless-steel clip rotates a full circle, letting you position the microphone upright, sideways, or angled for the best voice pickup while keeping the cable strain-relief aligned with your movement.
