Dual-PC DisplayPort KVM

This UTEK switch connects two DisplayPort computers to one 4K 60 Hz monitor and a shared USB keyboard and mouse. It targets users who need to control a work laptop and a personal desktop from a single desk setup without unplugging cables. The unit supports Windows, macOS, Linux, Unix and Netware systems out of the box.

DisplayPort 1.2 4K 60 Hz

The decisive specification is the DisplayPort 1.2 interface, which carries 4K resolution at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma for sharp text and colour accuracy. Only sources and displays that speak DisplayPort 1.2 can reach this refresh rate and colour format; HDMI or older DisplayPort versions will fall back to lower modes.

Front-panel and remote switching

A push button on the device and a wired remote button let you toggle between the two connected computers instantly. LED indicators show the active port at a glance. A USB power cable rated at DC 5 V 1000 mA is included to ensure stable operation when the host ports cannot supply enough current for peripherals such as flash drives, printers or docking stations.
