Weather-resistant paging horn

The Valcom V-1030C is a 5 Watt amplified horn speaker built for one-way paging. A reentrant design and high-impact ABS housing make it weather resistant for indoor or outdoor use. An omni-directional mounting base and I-beam clamp are included for flexible installation. Built-in volume control allows local sound level adjustment.

Installers needing simple voice paging

This unit suits facilities that require clear, single-direction announcements in corridors, warehouses or outdoor areas. The self-contained amplifier means no separate power amp is needed. Buyers who need two-way talkback, background music reproduction, or networked zone control should look at other product types.

5 Watt output power

The 5 Watt rating determines the coverage area and maximum loudness for paging signals. Match this figure to the ambient noise level and listening distance of the intended space. The 4.5 kg weight requires secure mounting on the supplied base or clamp.

Questions about this item

What power source or amplifier must I already have to drive this 5 Watt amplified horn?

The horn has a built-in 5 Watt amplifier, so it only requires a line-level audio feed and a suitable DC power supply; no external amplifier is needed.

Will this reentrant horn work with my existing Valcom paging controller?

Yes, the V-1030C accepts a standard line-level page signal, making it compatible with most Valcom and third-party paging controllers that provide an unbalanced audio output.

How can I confirm the speaker is broadcasting at the intended level after installation?

Use the built-in volume control to adjust output while making a test page; listen for clear, distortion-free audio at the desired coverage distance.
