Marine horn for paging systems

The Valcom V-1030M is a one-way amplified marine horn rated at five watts. It is built for indoor or outdoor paging where a single projected voice channel is required. Off-white finish suits commercial and industrial settings.

Fits standard mounting and power circuits

The unit measures 10.25 by 8.75 by 11.75 inches and weighs 4.7 pounds. It mounts to a wall or pole and connects to an existing amplifier or paging controller output. No additional driver hardware is needed, freeing rack space for other surveillance accessories.

Low heat and silent when idle

The five-watt amplifier draws minimal current and produces negligible warmth during normal paging cycles. Off-white housing dissipates heat passively without a fan, so background noise stays at zero between announcements. RoHS compliance is not claimed.

Questions about this item

How loud does the 5 W amplified marine horn get under sustained use?

The horn is rated at 5 watts one-way output; sustained volume will depend on the input signal level and supply voltage you provide.

How much heat or noise does the unit produce when running all day?

The enclosure measures 10.25"L x 8.75"W x 11.75"H and weighs 4.7 lbs, with no internal fan; heat dissipates passively and acoustic output is the intended horn sound.

What power supply or amplifier must I already have to drive this horn?

You need a compatible audio source or paging amplifier that can deliver a line-level signal to the horn's input terminals; the horn itself contains the 5 W amplifier stage.
