One-Way IP Horn

The Valcom VIP-130AL-BGE is a one-way 5 watt IP horn designed for interior or exterior paging. It operates over Power over Ethernet using the 802.3 af standard, removing the need for local power outlets. The weather-resistant construction suits outdoor installations.

Analogue Horn Replacement

This unit replaces traditional analogue horn speakers that require dedicated amplifier wiring and separate power infrastructure. The jump is worthwhile when an existing Ethernet network can carry both data and power to the speaker location. The PoE design simplifies cabling and reduces installation labour.

Coverage and Cabling Reach

The horn delivers 117 decibels at 1 metre, providing high-efficiency penetration for paging across large indoor or outdoor areas. Standard PoE cabling handles typical runs, while the long line extender version supports cable distances up to 1200 feet. It is not suited for applications requiring two-way talkback or stereo music playback.
