Brass Quick Coupling for Pressure Lines

This brass quick coupling connects a 1/4 inch male NPT inlet to a 22mm by 1.5 female quick-connect outlet. It is built for janitorial and indoor maintenance tasks that require fast, tool-free hose changes. The solid brass body resists corrosion in wet environments. Maintenance crews and facility technicians will find it suited to daily hook-up cycles.

Pressure and Temperature Limits

The coupling is rated for a maximum working pressure of 3,650 psi and a maximum fluid temperature of 300 degrees Fahrenheit. These limits define the safe operating envelope for hot water or chemical delivery systems. Exceeding either rating risks seal failure or fitting damage. Operators must verify that their pump and hose assembly stay within both boundaries.

Flow Capacity and Compatibility Headroom

The 1/4 inch NPT inlet and 22mm quick-connect outlet handle typical janitorial flow rates without restriction. Brass construction provides durability for repeated connect and disconnect cycles on cleaning equipment. It does not suit applications that demand larger-bore fittings or higher pressure ratings than those stated. Buyers needing greater flow volume or a different thread standard should select an alternative fitting.

Questions about this item

Which connection size matches my existing hose — the 1/4 inch male NPT inlet or the 22 mm quick-connect outlet?

The inlet is a 1/4 inch male NPT thread for standard pressure-washer guns, while the outlet is a 22 mm x 1.5 female quick-connect that snaps onto compatible lances.

Will the 3,650 psi rating hold up on a typical residential pressure washer?

Yes — 3,650 psi exceeds the output of most home-duty machines, so the brass coupler will not be the pressure-limiting component.

Does the 300 °F temperature limit restrict the detergents I can run through it?

The brass body handles fluids up to 300 °F, which covers hot-water pressure washing and common cleaning chemicals used at those temperatures.
