Brass Quick Coupling Plug

This brass quick coupling plug connects a 3/8 inch female NPT inlet to a 22mm x 1.5 male quick-connect outlet. It is built for pressure-washing and fluid-transfer systems that require a secure, tool-free connection. The fitting suits maintenance crews and facility managers who need reliable brass components for high-pressure lines. It is not intended for buyers who need a different thread size or outlet configuration.

Pressure and Temperature Rating

The plug withstands a maximum pressure of 3,650 psi and a maximum fluid temperature of 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Brass construction resists corrosion in typical janitorial and industrial cleaning applications. The material handles hot water and chemical solutions without degrading under normal operating conditions.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 3/8-inch female NPT inlet without stripping the brass threads?

Wrap PTFE tape clockwise on the male fitting, thread it hand-tight into the 3/8-inch female NPT inlet, then snug with a wrench no more than one extra turn to avoid cracking the brass.

What maintenance will the 22mm x 1.5 male quick-connect outlet need over time?

Inspect the outlet O-ring each season; replace it if the surface feels brittle or shows cracks so the 22mm quick-connect seal stays leak-free.

At what temperature does the brass body hit its 300-degree Fahrenheit fluid limit during sustained hot-water use?

Continuous flow above 300 degrees Fahrenheit will exceed the brass body’s rated maximum fluid temperature and risk seal failure.
