3-Inch China Hair Chip Brush

This 3-inch chip brush uses natural China hair bristles set in a tin-plated ferrule on an unfinished wood handle. It is designed for applying all oil-based and water-based paints and coatings on concrete, metal and wood surfaces. The soft bristle stiffness suits broad coverage on rough or smooth walls.

Soft Bristles For Smooth Film Build

The 3/8-inch thick by 1 1/2-inch long white bristles hold a generous amount of coating and release it evenly without leaving heavy brush marks. Natural China hair maintains flexibility during extended brushing sessions, reducing fatigue when covering large wall areas. The flat handle provides steady control for consistent strokes.

Ready To Use With Simple Prep

The unfinished wood handle may benefit from a light sanding before first use to remove any loose fibres. Rinse the brush thoroughly in the appropriate solvent for the coating type to clear manufacturing dust from the bristles. The tin-plated ferrule resists corrosion so the brush stays intact through repeated cleaning cycles.
