Manual 2-Way Ball Valve for Water Systems

The PVC ball valve controls water flow in residential and light-commercial plumbing. It uses a two-piece straight body with a standard-port PVC ball and a non-locking lever handle. The valve is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 225 psi and carries California Proposition 65 warnings for cancer and reproductive-harm chemicals.

Sustained Pressure and Chemical Resistance

Under continuous 225 psi water pressure the PVC body and ball resist corrosion and scale buildup better than metal alternatives. The two-piece construction keeps the seal stable during long duty cycles without the creep seen in single-piece moulded valves. Steam, vacuum and combustible-gas services are not rated, so the valve must stay on cold-water lines only.

Simple Solvent-Weld Installation

The socket ends accept standard 3/4 inch PVC pipe with solvent cement, requiring no threading tools or flange kits. A common error is applying cement to the valve socket while the ball is closed, which can fuse the ball to the seats and prevent operation. Keep the lever open during assembly and allow full cure time before pressurising the line.
