Value Brand 5X729 Swivel Plate Caster Rubber 4 in 275 lb D

Swivel Plate Caster

The Value Brand 5X729 is a single swivel plate caster fitted with a four-inch rubber wheel. It supports a load rating of 165 lb and comes in a yellow polyester finish. The unit has no brake or swivel lock included.

Suitable for light carts

This caster suits light-duty carts and wheelbarrows where a 165 lb rating per wheel is sufficient. Buyers needing a higher capacity such as the 275 lb figure shown in the model reference should look at heavier-duty alternatives. The lack of a brake means it is not suited for applications requiring positive wheel locking.

Capacity and headroom

Each caster comfortably handles loads up to 165 lb on smooth indoor or outdoor surfaces. The rubber tread provides standard rolling resistance but is non-marking only on surfaces that tolerate rubber contact. Above the rated load the wheel core may deform and the swivel mechanism can bind.
