Drum dolly for 20-gallon steel drums

This steel drum dolly supports loads up to 800 lb and is sized for a 20-gallon container. The open square deck sits 4 in above the floor and uses a bolt-adjustment system to fit the drum. It is built from 12-gauge steel with a powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance.

Check drum dimensions and floor conditions

Verify that your drum is a 20-gallon steel container with a base that fits the square deck. The bolt-adjustment mechanism must align with the drum’s footprint and there is no securing strap included. Ensure the floor is smooth enough for 3 in plastic casters to roll without binding.

Sustained load performance on plastic casters

Under continuous 800 lb loads the 3 in plastic wheels distribute weight across four casters to reduce point pressure. The 12-gauge steel frame resists flexing during extended moves. Plastic treads may wear faster on rough concrete than rubber alternatives.

Questions about this item

What comes with the drum dolly and do I need to buy casters separately?

The dolly ships as a complete unit with its four 3 in plastic casters already mounted on the 12 ga steel frame. No extra casters or hardware are required.

How do I decide between the 800 lb and 20 gal ratings when choosing this dolly?

Match the dolly to your container: it fits a 20 gal steel drum and supports up to 800 lb. If your drum is larger or heavier, you need a different model.

What does the 4 in deck height mean when the dolly is on the floor?

The deck sits 4 in above the ground, so a loaded 20 gal steel drum will ride at that height for easy transport.
