What This Pole Is And Who It Is For

This Zoro Select extension pole adjusts from 4 5/16 ft to 7 7/8 ft using an aluminium inner pole and a fibreglass outer pole. The universal threaded tip fits any standard threaded paint roller, brush or cleaning head. It is built for interior and exterior painting or cleaning tasks where a lightweight, corrosion-resistant reach tool is needed.

Check Your Setup Before Ordering

Verify that your existing rollers, brushes or cleaning heads use a standard universal thread so they will screw onto the included tip. Confirm that a maximum reach of 7 7/8 ft is sufficient for the ceiling height or wall area you plan to work on. The 1 1/2 in diameter pole requires a comfortable grip, so ensure the user can hold that thickness for extended periods.

Behaviour Under Sustained Load

The fibreglass outer shell resists flex and does not conduct heat or cold, keeping the pole stable during long painting sessions. Aluminium inner construction keeps the overall weight low, reducing arm fatigue when the pole is fully extended for hours. The twist-lock mechanism holds the selected length firmly without slipping, even when pressure is applied overhead.

Questions about this item

Does the Value Brand Extension Pole include the roller or brush heads, or must they be purchased separately?

The pole comes with a universal threaded tip that fits any standard threaded paint tool, so you only need to buy the roller or brush head separately.

How do I decide between the 4 ft minimum and 8 ft maximum length for my job?

Collapse the pole to 4 5/16 ft for tight interior work or extend it to 7 7/8 ft to reach ceilings and exterior walls without a ladder.

What does the 8 ft overall length mean when the pole is fully extended in a room?

At full extension the pole reaches 7 7/8 ft, letting you paint most standard ceilings and high walls while standing on the floor.
