Heavy Duty Canvas Tarp 9 ft 6 in x 19 ft 6 in

This heavy duty tarp is built from cotton canvas with a 30 mil thickness and a fabric weight of 15 oz per square yard. It is suited for buyers who need a durable, breathable cover for equipment, vehicles or outdoor storage. The olive green colour blends into natural surroundings. It is not for buyers who need a lightweight synthetic sheet or a fully waterproof membrane.

Installation and common issues

Brass grommets with a .5 inch inside diameter are spaced every 24 inches along the reinforced double stitched edges. Tie down ropes or bungee cords thread easily through the grommets for secure fastening. The finished size measures 9 ft 6 in by 19 ft 6 in, which is smaller than the 10 x 20 ft cut size, so allow for this reduction when planning coverage. Over tightening can strain the canvas at the grommet points.

Sustained load behaviour

The canvas resists mildew and UV exposure during long term outdoor use. Water resistant treatment repels rain while the breathable fabric reduces condensation build up underneath. Heavy duty construction withstands repeated tension from wind and tiedowns without tearing at the seams. The material does not insulate, so temperature sensitive items may need an additional barrier.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the tarp is performing as intended after setup?

Check that the double-stitched seams hold without fraying, the brass grommets spaced 24 in apart accept tie-downs cleanly, and water beads on the surface rather than soaking through the 15 oz/sq yd canvas.

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The package contains the 9 ft 6 in x 19 ft 6 in finished-size canvas tarp with brass grommets every 24 in; rope, bungees or stakes for anchoring are not included.

Which version should I choose for a 10 x 20 ft coverage area?

Select this 30 mil olive-green canvas tarp — its cut size is 10 x 20 ft and finished size is 9 ft 6 in x 19 ft 6 in, providing the heavy-duty, mildew- and UV-resistant cover you need.
