12-inch poly tubing roll

This 12-inch wide poly tubing comes on a 1450-foot cored roll with a 3-mil wall thickness. The clear low-density polyethylene material is FDA compliant for direct food contact. It ships as a single continuous length on a 3-inch core.

Fits standard heat-seal equipment

The tubing works with common impulse sealers, band sealers and manual heat guns to create custom-length bags on demand. A 12-inch roll diameter allows it to sit on most benchtop dispensers without a separate unwind stand. No adhesive or pre-formed pouches are required.

Handles temperatures from -60 to 180 degrees F

The LDPE construction stays flexible in freezers down to minus 60 degrees F and withstands heat sealing up to 180 degrees F. Three-mil thickness resists punctures for light to medium-weight contents but is not rated for heavy or sharp-edged items that demand thicker film.

Questions about this item

How long is the roll before it runs out?

The roll contains 1450 ft of tubing so continuous sealing can run for that entire length before a new roll is needed.

What temperature range can the tubing withstand during all-day sealing?

It operates from -60 °F up to 180 °F so heat from extended impulse sealing stays within the material limits.

What core size must the dispenser or holder accept?

The roll is wound on a 3 in core so any dispenser or holder must accommodate that diameter.
