Operating Range

The low-density polyethylene construction tolerates temperatures from minus 60 degrees Fahrenheit up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. The six-mil thickness provides a consistent barrier during normal handling and transit.

Sustained Use

A twelve-inch roll diameter on a three-inch core supports long production runs without frequent changeovers. The material carries a Proposition 65 warning for chemicals linked to cancer and reproductive harm.

Questions about this item

How do I load the 12 in. roll onto a 3 in. core dispenser without the film telescoping?

Slide the roll straight onto the 3 in. core, align the edges, and secure the brake tension before pulling; telescoping happens when the brake is loose or the roll is cocked.

When should I replace the tubing if it sees daily heat-sealing at 180 Degrees F?

Replace the roll once the pink LDPE shows clouding, brittleness, or seal failures — typically after several months at the 180 Degrees F limit.

At what temperature does the 6 mil pink LDPE tubing hit its maximum operating limit?

The tubing is rated to a maximum operating temperature of 180 Degrees F; sustained exposure above that accelerates degradation.
