Brass Quick-Connect Plug

This brass quick-connect plug joins a 1/4 inch female NPT inlet to a 22mm x 1.5 male quick-connect outlet. It is built for fluid-transfer systems that require a secure, tool-free connection. The brass body resists corrosion in water and chemical lines. The fitting handles pressures up to 3,650 psi and fluid temperatures up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.

Suited for high-pressure wash and chemical lines

Maintenance crews and facility managers can use this coupling on pressure washers, spray rigs and janitorial equipment that match the thread and quick-connect profile. It is not for low-pressure garden hose threads or systems that use a different quick-connect standard. Buyers who need a larger bore or a stainless steel body should look at alternative fittings.

Pressure and temperature headroom

The plug comfortably handles continuous operation at the rated 3,650 psi and 300 degrees Fahrenheit. It runs out of margin if system spikes exceed the pressure rating or if fluids exceed the temperature limit. The 22mm outlet suits standard high-flow lances and nozzles used in commercial cleaning.

Questions about this item

What thread size must my hose or fitting have to connect to the 1/4 in (F) NPT inlet?

You need a male 1/4 in NPT thread to screw into the female inlet of this brass plug.

Will the 22mm x 1.5 mm quick-connect outlet mate with my existing 22mm quick-connect socket?

Yes, the outlet is a 22mm x 1.5 mm male quick-connect designed to snap into a matching 22mm female socket.

How can I verify the plug is sealed and flowing at the rated 3,650 psi and 300 °F after installation?

Pressurise the system to working pressure and check for leaks at both connections; steady flow with no drips confirms correct operation.
