Quick-Mount Bracket for Wheelbarrows & Carts

The Value Brand Quick-Mount Bracket 4DU20 is a weld-on bracket designed for mounting plates measuring 4 inches by 4-1/2 inches. It is intended for repairing or assembling wheelbarrows and carts. The component is supplied new and ships directly from Zoro. Orders of $75 or more qualify for free shipping on this item.

Suited for DIY cart repairs; not for bolt-on needs

This bracket suits owners who can weld and need a permanent mount for a 4 x 4-1/2 inch plate on a wheelbarrow or cart frame. Buyers who require a bolt-on or clamp-style bracket without welding should look at a different mounting solution. The part is restricted from sale in certain states, so verify local availability before ordering.

Weld-on mounting for 4 x 4-1/2 inch plates

The single specification that decides fit is the weld-on mounting type combined with the 4 inch by 4-1/2 inch plate size. If your repair calls for a welded bracket on that exact plate footprint, this part matches; otherwise it will not work.

Questions about this item

How do I weld the bracket so the 4 in x 4-1/2 in mounting plate aligns correctly?

Position the bracket on the frame, tack-weld the corners, check the plate dimensions for square, then run full beads to prevent warping.

What part will need replacement after heavy seasonal use?

The weld-on bracket itself may fatigue at the mounting ears; inspect for cracks and replace the bracket if deformation appears.

What limits how long I can use this bracket under continuous load?

The steel thickness at the 4-1/2 in plate determines fatigue life; sustained weight beyond the bracket's yield point causes permanent bend.
