Rigid Plate Caster 600 lb

This rigid plate caster supports a 600 lb load rating with a four inch wheel diameter and two inch wheel width. The polyolefin wheel and core material provide non-marking operation on finished floors. It is suited for carts, workbenches or mobile equipment that require straight-line tracking without swivel movement.

Installation and common issues

The plate mounting pattern allows bolt-on attachment to flat surfaces using standard hardware. Because the caster has no brake or swivel lock, the mounted equipment will roll freely on inclines unless secured separately. Ensure the mounting surface is rigid enough to prevent plate flex under the full 600 lb rating.

Sustained load behaviour

Under continuous load the polyolefin tread resists flat-spotting better than softer rubber compounds. The material tolerates exposure to oils, solvents and cleaning agents common in workshop environments. California Proposition 65 warnings apply because the product contains chemicals identified by the state as causing cancer and reproductive harm.
