Zoro Select Rigid Semi-Pneumatic Caster

This Zoro Select rigid caster mounts on a plate and uses a single 8-inch rubber wheel with a ribbed tread. It supports a 350 lb load rating and has no brake mechanism. The wheel measures 2 1/2 inches wide and is not non-marking. It is built for wheelbarrows and carts needing fixed-direction movement.

Suits single-wheel replacements on existing rigs

Buyers needing a rigid caster for a wheelbarrow or cart with an 8-inch wheel and 350 lb capacity will find this part matches those specifications. It does not suit applications requiring a swivel caster for steering or a built-in brake for locking the wheel in place. Shoppers looking for non-marking tread protection should consider other options.

350 lb load rating on an 8-inch rigid wheel

The 350 lb load rating on the 8-inch diameter rubber wheel is the primary specification that determines fit for your wheelbarrow or cart. Confirm the existing caster uses a plate mount and requires no brake function before ordering. Orders of $75 or more ship free directly from Zoro.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the caster is rolling correctly after I bolt it on?

Spin the wheel by hand; it should turn freely without binding, and the rigid plate must stay firmly aligned with the mounting surface under load.

What comes in the box and what must I supply myself?

The package contains one rigid semi-pneumatic caster with an 8 in ribbed rubber wheel rated for 350 lb; mounting bolts, washers and any axle hardware are not included.

Which version should I choose if I need a non-marking wheel?

This model has a standard rubber tread that is not non-marking; if a non-marking wheel is required, a different caster series must be selected.
